Che Broadnax cut his teeth shooting and editing documentary and educational content for the award-winning PhotoSynthesis Productions in Ithaca, NY before moving to NYC to pursue his dream of shooting narrative films.
Recently, Che has served as director of photography on the Ryan Brothers' Sci-Fi/Horror feature WELCOME TO WILLITS, the 40-minute ART OF DREAMING, and many shorts and music videos, including SubRosa's TROUBLED CELLS, Roger An's ALPHA FISH, and Brandon Boudreaux's NEIGHBORS.
Che's feature film CIVIL WARRIORS, co-directed by Deborah Hoard and produced by PhotoSynthesis Productions recently won Best Narrative Feature - Drama at the Long Beach Indie International Film Festival. Che has also has kept busy working in camera departments on critically acclaimed films such as THE EXPLODING GIRL, ALREADY TOMORROW IN HONG KONG and THE HISTORY OF FUTURE FOLK as well popular shorts including THE STRANGE ONES, AFTERMATH, and FIRST PRIZE.
As an editor and motion graphics artist, Che has been a regular part of the team at Great City Post, since 2010, working on promo campaigns for MTV and VH1.
Currently, Che is busy finishing a long-standing animation project as well as developing a new transmedia project with fellow filmmaker and former Ithacan Nicole Solomon of 4Mile Circus.
